Visas and entry conditions in Tunisia

Visa requirements *

Visa-exempt foreign nationals :

Visa free for a maximum stay of 4 months: Canada, Germany and the United States
Visa free for a maximum stay of 2 months: Bulgaria
Visa free for a maximum stay of 1 month: Greece
Visa free for a maximum stay of 90 days: All European Union citizens (except Cyprus), Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Chile, China, Comoros, Costa Rica, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Fiji, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Hong Kong, Honduras, Iceland, Japan, Jordan, Kiribati, South Korea, Kuwait, Libya, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Namibia, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Vatican
Nationals of the following countries can enter Tunisia using a national ID card if travelling on a package tour and holding a hotel voucher: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland

Holders of diplomatic or service passports issued to citizens of the following countries do not require a visa: Egypt, India, Indonesia, Philippines and Ukraine;
Holders of diplomatic passports issued to citizens of the following countries do not require a visa: Thailand, Cuba, Czech Republic, Iran, Pakistan, Singapore, Syria, Albania and Vietnam.

Citizens of the following countries may enter Tunisia without a visa if travelling on an organised tour and holding a hotel voucher: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macao, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan

Nationalities subject to visa : citizens of all other nationalities can obtain their visa in embassies of Tunisia.

Note: a passenger who does not have Tunisian identity papers (passport or identity card) is considered as a foreign passenger even if he / she has a multi-citizenship and must therefore be in possession of a visa .
How to obtain a visa ? *
